This Privacy Policy is effective June 25, 2026. BookParkByMe operates the booking experience for customers reserving parking with participating properties and operators.
Information we collect
We may collect account and profile details, reservation details, vehicle and trip information you provide, support messages, contact form submissions, login and authentication information, and technical/security data such as device, browser, IP, and fraud-prevention signals. If social login options such as Google or Apple are available and you choose to use them, we receive the information needed to create or access your BookParkByMe account.
Payment information
BookParkByMe uses Stripe for payment processing. We do not store full card numbers in BookParkByMe. We may store payment-related references and metadata, such as Stripe payment IDs, charge IDs, receipt status, amount, currency, and dispute or refund references when needed for reservations, receipts, support, fraud prevention, chargebacks, or legal compliance.
How we use information
We use information to create and manage reservations, process payments through Stripe, issue parking passes, including QR passes, provide customer support, investigate fraud or security issues, handle disputes and chargebacks, comply with law, improve the service, and communicate about your account or booking.
How we share information
We share information with parking operators or properties when needed to honor a reservation, with Stripe for payment processing, and with service providers that support hosting, authentication, email, security, analytics, support, or operations. We may also share information when required for legal, compliance, fraud-prevention, chargeback, or safety reasons. Selling customer personal information is not BookParkByMe's business model.
Reservation and operator details
A participating property or operator may receive the reservation details needed to identify a valid booking, such as the reservation time, customer or vehicle details you provide, pass status, and support context related to that property.
Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain reservation records, support receipts and disputes, satisfy legal or accounting obligations, prevent fraud, and improve BookParkByMe. We may retain some records after an account is closed when required for these purposes.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards for the information we handle. No internet or payment system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, so customers should use strong passwords and contact BookParkByMe if they notice unusual account or payment activity.
Your choices
You can choose what optional details to provide, update account information where available, request support with account access, and ask questions about privacy or data handling. Some information may be required to create a reservation, process payment, or issue a parking pass.
Children
BookParkByMe is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Third-party services
BookParkByMe may link to or rely on third-party services, including Stripe, Supabase, Vercel, maps, authentication providers, or property/operator websites. Those services may have their own privacy practices and terms.
